Valley way was very well packed out. I wore snowshoes for traction and televator. Changed to Micros at the hut. Madison almost would have been better to bare boot, as it is still very bare. I switched to crampons for Adams. Mixed surface conditions with drifts, ice, and bare rock. I made good time, so I decided to explore some minor trails below. Some were unbroken, but trail breaking was very easy. |
