Up Mt Roberts Tr. Shortly passed a group of 4. Half way up passed large AMC group. Trail dry except for last half mile in spruces where trail had some minor mud/snow. Headed over on High Ridge Tr. Passed a couple from Wolfboro. A few snow monorails mostly after Faraway Mt Tr junction. Down Turtleback Mt trail with stop for lunch on Turtleback. Turtleback Tr has normal spring mud. Great spring hike with temps in lower 60's. Hiked in low cut summer boots. Yes, feet got a little wet. Few May flowers blooming. |
