It was a warm day, around 40F, and the trail was soft. Snowshoes worked perfectly, as the ground was a little too soft, causing potholing if you didn't have snowshoes. The trail from South Moat to Middle Moat is not been broken yet. We decided not to attempt and headed back down the moat trail, the way we came in. |
