Plan was to hike up to Liberty Cabin and loop onto the Brook trail after the summit. Made great time to the cabin and had hot beverages :) then began the climb up the ledges. Trail was a little icy in spots and steep. Got onto a bushwhack and decided the waist deep snow would be too much for the pup and back tracked. (also the wind started to pick up and we didn't know if the trail was going to dead end, which it had already) Still better than any work day! |
