Comments
Comments: There is a link below to Loon's uphill travel policy. Skinning, snowshoeing, etc. without lift use are allowed if you buy a $20 Uphill Access day ticket at the Octagon Snowsports Desk next to the gondola loading area. The trails listed (other than Sunset) are the route you're supposed to take, and you can also use Cruiser on South Peak.

At the top of Exodus there is a restaurant, rest rooms, the top of the gondola lift, a tower with great views, and a ski patrol building. I asked the ski patrol about snowshoeing access to North Peak because I didn't like the answer that I got at the snowsports desk. The ski patrol were all really nice and they told me I could go up Sunset if I stayed to the right going uphill to be most visible to the skiers.
