Comments
Comments: We elected to wear the snowshoes car to car and did not regret it. The snow was soft and only got more so the higher up we went. Saw some post holes, but we only made the trail better packed out. I saw one person bare booting near the top and she was post holing, however post holes were not a huge problem. The other guy I saw had spikes but he was lower down, where the trail was more solid. We did the loop counterclockwise, and I was happy with that. The East Ledges were exposed to lots of wind which was doing a great job filling in the trail. We worked on making the trail better in places, but with changing weather, who knows what it will look like in a few days. What a beautiful blue sky day, on a gorgeous trail. This mountain must have some of the highest reward for the least effort in the White Mountains.
