Comments: Splitboarded these trails - excellent!!!! Late start - noon. First run on Alexandria we went to the summit ledges above the Warden's Cabin - wasn't sure the icy crust was edgeable so we didn't go to the summit - probably went halfway up from the Warden's Cabin - snow is DEEP up there!!! From those ledges snowboarded down the narrow twisty trail to PJ's Ledge and then dropped into the Alexandria Ski Trail - amazing conditions!!!

After that run, went back up the Clark/Clark Cutoff to drop in again for a second lap down the Alexandria. Came upon an exhausted hiker postholing/barebooting and pulling a sled *UP* the Alexandria (ski trail is not for hiking, but, the signs might be buried???).

From the base of the Alexandria, rode the Holt Trail. VERY fun hitting the Bailey Bridge with momentum and then running down the rest of the Holt!!! :)

At Duke's Pasture switched back to skins and skied up the Duke's Ski Trail to the Firescrew Ledges... around 4:30pm ledges were getting icy (not sure they thawed during the day?) so didn't go to the top of Firescrew - too afraid it would be an icy chute on descent. Ledges were thinkly edgeable - dropped back in on Dukes and have never seen conditions so great - fun continuous turns and very surfy the whole descent - my best run on Dukes *ever*. :) Terrific afternoon!!!!
