Comments
Comments: My first time snowboarding this trail, so I was pretty excited to ride it!!! Thanks Amy P for going along and skiing with me!!!! (One less run at Wildcat prior in order to have time for this...)

Easy skinning up - took us an hour because it was so hot!!!! Went with the recommendation in Dave Goodman's Backcountry ski books and skinned up this trail rather than the steeper alternatives so no loop for us.

Once at the cabin, had terrific views of course!!!

Descent was a bit sketchy due to postholes and different spring snow across the width and length of the trail - glad there wasn't a snowshoe track to get caught in tho!!!! The upper sections where swept out by other skiers were fun, but, if you got off the center of the trail, easy to sink an edge. Probably the most challenging backcountry run and turns I've had all season!!!! Occasional, avoidable dirt/rock sections.

Fun afternoon - thanks Amy for being a good sport!!! :)
