Comments
Comments: The Nancy Pond trail is developing a kind of monorail down low, which was no big deal on the way up, but very aggravating on the way down. There is still some soft snow higher up, especially past the cascades.

The snow was very firm on the bushwhack. I was hardly sinking and didn't have any issues with spruce traps. I thought this summit would be hard to find due to how flat it is, but I got lucky and walked right up to the recognized high point without any hunting. Not nearly as thick as I thought it would be. very good going, in fact.

Headed to Norcross Pond afterwards. You can still walk along the shore of the pond but I would not walk on the ice. Great view to Guyot, Bonds, Franconias.

I am posting this late because I went straight to 4000 footer awards night. Congrats to all who finished lists this year.
