| Comments: |
lower trail was dry and the falls were beautiful; upper third of trail was challenging going up because of recent snow on top of winter pack, poles were helpful; high gusts on summit did not diminish our enjoyment of the spectacular views; due to rapidly melting snow the descent was strenuous for us (age 50 +) and we fell several times on slushy rocks, additional traction would have been helpful; lower two thirds of trail were no problem; waterproof hiking footwear highly recommended |
