Comments
Comments: Took my time viewing the beautiful scenery this loop offers. Potent am wind heading up S. Baldface. Intermittent stretches of deep snow at elevation- narrow monorail stable enough with some postholes. Carried snowshoes and micros, not worth the hassle of using and taking off. Surprised a bear that was intently foraging just off trail in the open woods on lower Bicknell. He/she looked up to see me putting Grete on lead, then scrambled off in 4WD.
