Comments
Comments: I bushwhacked up from the Beeline trail, just passed the south peak ledges. I hit some very thick going in wet woods. One blowdown area was extremely tough. Once I was in it, it was very hard to get passed it. After that, it wasn't bad, but consistently thick. In my two trips to Paugus, I have deemed the highpoint to be a small bump where several trees have been cut out and larger trees have been extensively limbed. Please let me know if you know anything about the recognized high point being different.

On the way back I stayed to the west in order to avoid that blowdown area. This time I came out on the Lawrence trail, very close to the south peak. I highly recommend sticking to this side.
