| Comments: |
the lower moat trail along the brook, before it joins red ridge trail, has considerable mud and one flooded section that made the trail a bit difficult to follow in places. there are assorted alternative paths going here and there, perhaps to avoid the mud, or because there are no trail markings at all in this area. but by following the brook there is finally a sign at the junction with red ridge trail. from there the trail is marked and easy to follow. Went up on red ridge trail, which is terrific. looped back down on moat trail. |
