Comments
Comments: Perfect day for a hike up Cardigan. Did the tried and true Holt to Clark up to the summit, then circled to the South for the hike over Orange Mountain and back to the AMC lodge via Vistamont to the Grand Jct and Holt back to the car. Surprisingly few bugs for a day in June! Only a few mosquitoes and black flies in late afternoon on the final stretch. Trails are in great shape and only muddy in the chronically wet areas.
