Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail was in good shape. Some of the trail markers in the southern half are faded and could use re-painting.

Bugs: The bugs became more fierce the further south we traveled. mostly mosquitos. i pulled a deer tick nymph off my leg.

Comments: Wapack Trail South Bound 21.4mi Traverse

long day, but a great day out with the Boston AMC. started hiking at 7:20am and finished at 7:05pm. if you are a strong fast hiker, this traverse can be finished well-under book time. (9..10hrs.)
