| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Large lot at Oliverian Brook. Room for a few on roadside pulloffs at Pine Bend. I left my bike locked at Pine Bend and at end of hike found that someone had gone through my little bike tool bag underneath seat. Nothing valuable inside; but thought I would mention this as a precaution to not leave anything of value (digital speedometer for example). Never had considered this an issue before today. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
All crossings rockhoppable. First one on Passaconaway Cutoff required an awkward step and one of middle ones on Pine Bend Brook was on slick mossy rocks. Poles helped and there was probably an easier route with a little searching. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
5-6 blowdowns on both Rollins Tr. and Pine Bend Brook Tr. all easily stepped over or ducked under. I would also like to thank all those who did the incredible job of clearing blowdowns on the Kate Sleeper Tr.. You can't really appreciate all that was done here until you see it. Resembles a log yard in spots. First time for me on this trail. What was described as a very pleasant trail prior to the devastation was a wonderful trail today! Thanks! |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
|
|
| Bugs: |
Mosquitoes swarming at Oliverian Brook parking and on East Sleeper. Less intelligent ones on East Sleeper I guess. Present at other times but I used a few coatings of bug dope being a long day and not wanting to deal with them. |

| Comments: |
Great weather today for this loop. Cooler temps, low humidity, great views and dry trails made for one of those long enjoyable days. Few wet spots but majority of loop quite dry. A nice mix of trail grades with a lot of easy hiking and some areas with slightly difficult rock maneuvers. Nice slightly downhill bike ride from Pine Bend to Oliverian. |
