Parking on the side of the road across from the trailhead for several cars. We were the only ones when we arrived today. |
| Surface Conditions: |

| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
All crossings were low and rock-hoppable |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There were some large blowdowns that looked like they had permanent paths around them. Others across the trail were easy enough to step or crawl over. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Finn, and older dog, had a hard time on one very steep icy rocky spot near the summit. Other than that he had a great hike today |
| Bugs: |
Cold temps and breeze kept black flies away from us for the entire hike. No ticks. |

| Comments: |
This trail is in pretty good shape. Stoney Brook is roaring and quite beautiful now. There were several mucky areas that we easily avoided on the lower section. It is one of the nicest 52 With a View hikes we have done. Great views from the summit. A few photos below: |
