Another productive day with the BRATTS (Belknap Range Trail Tenders), as 10 new steps were built on the Red Trail. The next work day is July 12th at 8:30AM at the top of the Carriage Road. |

Deer flies and mosquitoes were vexing around lunch time. Not too bad if moving, and no issues when on the tower. |

Day three of the BRATTS all volunteer reconstruction of the Red Trail. 10 new rock steps were added, as well as cribbing, footbed work, and drainage. Combined with previous year projects further up the hill, we're approaching 10% rebuilt. Still a lot of rough stuff terrain remaining though! Ledges were rather slippery in the humidity today. Blueberries are not out yet. |
