Water Crossing Notes: All easily rock-hoppable
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The two ends of this hike were in really good shape. The middle was a bit rougher. We cleared the blowdowns that we could.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Pepper had great water options on the two ends of the hike, but the time on the ridge was a bit drier. John brought water and a bowl for Pepper.
Bugs
Bugs: I don't think that John ever was bothered, but I swatted about a million times. In the lowlands, it was mosquitoes. Higher, it was some sort of gnat that really wanted to be in my eyes, nose and ears. Ha Ha!

Comments
Comments: John graciously led Pepper and me on a great red-lining trip that we both needed! A lovely 10 miles, including a short bushwhack to (we think) the summit of Table Mountain. Not a drop of rain. Could have used more WIND. :-) Many thanks to John and Pepper for a really great day out!
