Parking/Access Road Notes: Mt. Major lot fairly empty at 8:30, packed at 1:00 PM Carriage Road lot fairly full.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud, Standing/Running Water on Trail

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The only crossing are on the Yellow trail, all of them easily done.

Trail Maintenance Notes: All the trails were in good condition 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy trail for dogs although I saw someone carrying a Pekingese which had run out of steam.

Bugs: Not too bad with all the wind

Comments: The views from major are spectacular certainly among the best anywhere in New Hampshire. The plane wreck on Belknap gives pause for reflection.
