Several large blowdowns (6"dia plus) betweeen Starr King Summit and Waumbek |

| Comments: |
Family of gray jays active at Starr King summit. The new viewpoint from near the top of Waumbek just keeps getting better. The entire ridgeline from Madison to Crawford Notch is visible. Its about 2 minutes past the Waumbek summit and is the best view of the trip by far.
There were still some patches of snow and monorail between the summits and just before the Starr King summit, I barebooted but others used traction. Not going to be there much longer. |
