My husband dropped me off at the Unknown Pond Trailhead off of Mill Brook Road, and then parked at the northern trailhead for the Kilkenny Ridge Trail. Parking at this trailhead / South Pond is free if you tell them you are hiking. |

Skipper came with me. There were places with lots of water, but sections around Roger's Ledge that were dry - so I carried some for him to be sure. |

A lovely traverse. Quiet and peaceful. Trails well-marked. The mossy green rocks that make up the Devil's Hopyard trail were very, very slick and slippery... and I did not bring my dog through this section. |
