Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Below is from bryan's report. Same exact route for me. Thank you again bryan. after hiking northwest crystal earlier in the day i got back onto cedar stream road and drove it to a point about 11.7 miles from rt. 145 near pittsburg. here i turned right onto another road with a gate labelled as number 195 and drove a couple more tenths before parking before the road descends to cross over a brook. the north slopes of pisgah were clearly visible to the south.

Comments
Comments: From where I started, it felt like I could hit the top of Mt. Pisgah with a rock. I took a feild bearing and marched to the summit through open, easy woods! It was great to have an easy one at the end of a long day. For the way back I reversed my bearing and came out right at the car.

This hike to Mt Pisgah concluded the NH 200 highest and 3000 footers for me. I have really enjoyed hiking this list. For the northern peaks it was a huge help to draw on the trip reports on this site for driving approaches. Bryan in particular was especially diligent in keeping track of the details of his approaches. Unfortunately, I did most of the peaks on the NH 200 before I was active on this site. Good luck to everyone who is working on this list!
