Comments
Comments: Saved the best for last?!? Found herd path easy enough and was able to
follow to north turn. Went into woods with bearings keeping me on or
near the ridgeline. The hike up wasn't too bad. Blowdown was the major
obstacle, but the woods were mostly open so I took the path of least
resistance when blocked. Herd paths started to appear around 3400 feet
and brought me right to canister. On the trip down I went on more of a
straight bearing staying north of my trip up. It was working for awhile
and then I started hitting spruce bands which really slowed things down.
Should of stayed on the ridge. This one was an adventure for sure.
The NEHH list is done! I think my next hike will be on trails.
