Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of step overs and duck unders on the great gulf trail all after the second suspension bridge. The are in the wilderness area.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see one dog today although the six husbands trail is not good for dogs. And the buttress tr has some big rocks to hop up high and some deep holes so use extreme caution if you bring your dog on this one. But I wouldn't recommend it

Comments
Comments: Great hike today but tough up the six husbands trail. All fun though. Once on Jefferson I was treated to a great undercast to the west, north and some to the south. But I was in the sun all day :)
A bit windy at times and the crowds are settling down with cold weather setting in. Tricky descending the north side of Adams as the shaded areas had black ice on the rocks and I fell on my badonka donk. Other then that it was a great 18 mile day for me and it took my a little less then 8 hrs .
