| Comments: |
It was a terrific day in the woods with Karen Maineri and John Buckley. All of the trails are lacking or have very faded markers especially at key points. The WODC (I believe they are responsible for Kate Sleeper Tr) did a fantastic job of cutting the massive blow downs along this wonderful trail. The Downs Brook Tr is in great need of repair after wash outs and erosion. My opinion is that it should be re-routed to one side of the brook (either will do) to avoid the 10+ water crossings. This trail would be impassible during high-water times. |
