| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
The parking area was overflowing with cars from thru-hikers. I parked on the side of the road. |

| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The trail was bone dry. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The trail was very well maintained. The markers are very clear and the trail was easy to follow. The only suggestion: place a clear summit marker so hikers don't confuse the first ledges with the actual summit. |

my 10lb chihuahua had no problems hiking this trail. |

| Comments: |
If you are looking for a good place to eat, I found one nearby. The Northland Restaurant & Dairy Bar located at 1826 Riverside Dr, Berlin, NH. With a name like that I didn't know what to expect, but they have good food, a full bar with frozen drinks, good desserts and good service. |
