|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There is some active timber harvesting at the start of the trail. Look for a small arrow pointing to the left of the clearing and follow the bright trail-marker ribbons leading you around the harvesting back to the trail.
The recent rains left running water, wet leaves and slippery rocks on the trail making it a little tricky in places. We all did a butt-thump at least once during the hike.
Trail blazes are faded in places. It's not too much of a problem, as long as you are paying attention. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
My chihuahua and his new friend a golden doodle, had no problems with this trail. Even with the water on the trail bring extra water for larger active dogs. |

| Comments: |
With the fallen leaves covering loose rocks, slippery leaves/rocks from the recent rains, and colder weather, I recommend hiking with a little more caution especially on the way down. |
