| Comments: |
No snow at the base, eventually we found ourselves walking in 1-2" at the top and along the ridge trails with 3-5" drifts in just a few spots. Light traction is perfect for the upper 1/3 of the trails. Avoided the ledges by taking Slippery Brook trail, and the Eagle Cascade trail was a nice diversion, though the trail has so much leaf litter its hard to know when youre about to step in a big hole, so caution there. Beautiful day, amazing views, only saw 4 others from a distance. |
