| Comments: |
Put micro spikes on at Starr King summit. Made all the difference. Kept them on til half a mile from parking lot when sticky snow made them a pain to use. Only other person on trail was a hunter. He stayed at lower elevations. Flurries and snow throughout day and as cold as predicted. Snow depth only minimally more at higher elevations in comparison to parking lot. Everything was white-very pretty. Felt like winter hike. |
