| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Pretty small paved lot with room for maybe 8-10 cars. Not a fee area. No facilities. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
One river crossing at very beginning of trail. Water was very low but many of the rocks needed to cross had ice an they were rounded and irregular shapes and deep water around. Was OK today but seems like the kind of crossing that would be tough in normal or high water levels. Having trekking poles was helpful for balancing on the pointed rocks. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail in good shape. Despite much of it being in Wilderness Area it was well blazed with yellow rectangles that were older but still very visible in both directions. Two leaners and one stepover toward the summit that were no big deal. |
