Comments
Comments: Great sunny day. Those who hiked the day before in the slush did post hold it up a bit, but the holes were only about 1 inch deep and frozen solid on Dec. 2. Microspikes or other light traction gave great grip on lots and lots of ice. No problems though. Mostly snow and ice covered and not too hard on the equipment. Snowshoes would have been disastrous. Nice day to be out, and the jays were visiting as usual.
