Comments
Comments: Trail in good shape and easy to travel today with between 2-6 inches of snow consisting of an inch hard crust and some looser powder underneath. Some blue ice bulges that are mostly easily avoidable/nice snow cover but figured I'd mention it in case saturday's precipitation is rain and exposed more of it by melting snow. Ledge areas no problem right now and it seems you'd have to have serious ice conditions with no snow for them to ever be that bad in winter. Great views on this loop, Passaconaway appears particularly large. Only saw one other duo out today so nice to have some solitude on this fairly popular loop. Still moving very slowly these days as I am not totally over my 9 month bout of sciatica, but today didn't hurt!
