Comments
Comments: trails mostly dry and in good shape. a couple lingering patches of snow of no consequence. lower avalon and a-z look to have been patrolled, but upper avalon and willey range have a fair number of blowdowns of varying sizes. a few big ones are completely blocking the trail. bugs not too bad while moving. they were swarming a little heavy at the outlook on willey.
a nice day in the willey range. the smoke coming down from quebec was quite evident making a general haze that seemed to thin out a bit as the day went on. in the morning the view to washington on avalon was like a smoky undercast.
nice to be out.
