Comments
Comments: What an amazingly clear day. No wind, temps around 15-20'. Getting up the Blueberry ledges seemed easier in the winter than in better conditions. Some down-climbing and crampons required on the way down. We used the snowshoes off of Whiteface all the way to East Sleeper. Broke the trail out pretty good, but with all the blowdowns, make sure you budget extra time. It took us over 2 hours to traverse this mile. Often times, the blazes were difficult to spot. Saw some double blues and even a yellow blaze(?).
