Comments
Comments: “WARNING NOTICE”
To all hikers that use the Parking area off Wood Road to access the E. Gilford Trail or Round Pond.
The parking lot is NOT plowed in Winter. You must park below the T at the jct. of Wood and Bickford Roads.
You also must turn around at the T ( NOT in the driveway of the house) and proceed back down hill toward Rt.11A and park on the Right ( South ) side if space ( Limited ) is available. Do NOT park in front of the Dry Fire Hydrant. Emergency fire apparatus has to have 24/7 access to that hydrant. ( SIGN )
Wood road is too narrow so parking is not allowed and especially in the drive way of the house at the end for Safety/Access issues.
It is highly recommended to car pool as much as possible.
