Comments
Comments: My brother-in-law and I opted for a mellow hike. We chose to ascend from the right of the trail junction (west side of the loop) and check out Allen's Ledge first. He wore the old school Sherpas (very long) and I wore my trusty Denalis. The trail was pretty soft and helped smooth out some ruts and minor postholes. The trail leading to the summit on the western side of the loop was in great shape. The eastern side of the loop was a different story. There were areas of bare trail, standing water, exposed ledges (no snow on the actual trail), and it was speckled with deeper postholes.

The views were great and the winds were very minimal. It was a good Boxing Day. :)
