| Comments: |
Not much new snow or drifting down low. Went Counter-clockwise and ran into first significant drifts headed up the steeps to South peak. Found moderate drifting on the ridge in the usual places, only occasionally knee or waist deep.
The new snow is not sticking to the icy luge run that is the branch of the Loop Trail going up to the North peak. If I were to go down it again tomorrow, I would wear crampons for that section. |
