First half of the ascent is decently packed for snowshoe use. Looks like another person went up Piper since last night, so that should also be in better shape.
Upon reaching the open areas, the rest of the way to Whiteface is packed out by snowmobile traffic. Snowshoes still probably optimal given base depths of 2-3 feet along the ridge. |
