Comments
Comments: A great short tour on a CCC classic. The skintrack was nicely packed and fast, and the trail had seen snowshoes recently, as had Old Path. Ran into a group of 7 other skiers (some on touring gear, some on tele) at the summit, and after they departed, I had the summit to myself for a bit. I caught up with them, and they let me pass. Decent conditions, some nice powder on the fringes, and generally soft snow all around, some scratchy bits. Not my best skiing, but that's what you get on no sleep. Glad to get out, and finish off this straggling trail.
