| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossings were all rock hoppable, though the first Nancy Brook crossing required careful stepping on at least one wet rock. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail in good shape up to Nancy Pond area. Three drops of new bogwalks waiting to be installed - badly need too. However, the Norcross Pond section probably needs them more, as portions of the trail are flooded (due to beaver dam at far end of pond) and now have herd paths forming. Also some blowdowns starting at the Wilderness boundary, including one that might cause people to go up the bootleg trail to Nancy instead of following the Nancy Pond Trail (if coming from the Pemi). |

| Dog-Related Notes: |

| Bugs: |
Not bad until the ponds. Mosquitoes pretty vexing through out the ponds area. Some mosquitoes and black flies on the herd path to Nancy, but not too bad. |

| Comments: |
Nancy Pond Trail was generally pretty dry up to the height of land. From there, there are some mud pits around Nancy Pond, as well as mud pits and areas of flooded trail around Norcross Pond. Herd paths forming around the Norcross Pond flooded areas. Mt. Nancy herd path was pretty easy to find and follow and generally in good shape. Didn't find a canister at the summit, but found the metal bracket were it may have been. |
