Lots of avoidable blowdowns
FS has relocated E branch to avoid logging, apparently done by someone who was drunk/high as trail wanders up and down instead of steady grade

After reading 4/3 report I wore snowshoes but thaw/freeze since then left treadway as boilerplate and everybody else with snowshoes took them off. There is some bare rock on the East Ledges, and enough hard ice in steep areas that the folks with G10s were not overdressed. Less than a foot of snow in woods lower down.
