Comments
Comments: Headed up Avalon around 4:30, bareboots were fine from the crawford depot to the A-Z trail junction. From A-Z to the summit of Avalon, light traction would have been nice, but it was passable, from Avalon to Field, snowshoes make traveling easier, but we were fine in just our boots. Trail was pretty well packed down and easy to follow. Beautiful views from the summits of Avalon and Field, got down to Crawford Depot just as it was getting dark and the snow was starting.
