Parking/Access Road Notes: The road to the parking area is a little muddy and bumpy but the parking area is well maintained and easy to find.

Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Water Crossing Notes: Very easy walkovers. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail is very well maintained. Looks like someone has been doing a lot of work cleaning up blowdowns on the trail. The blazes well maintained and easy to follow. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy and fun trail for dogs. The ERD (my chihuahua) made some friends along the way.

Bugs: A few buzzing but none biting

Lost and Found: none 
 
Comments
Comments: There were a number of icy patches toward the top. I threw on my spikes just to make the ascent quicker. No snow on top. Nice ledge view off the Cliff Trail where the Carolyn Trail descends.
