Bear Mountain, Hebron:
I finally completed hiking the Elwell Trail! Lots of ups and downs across Bear Mountain but very pleasant trails!!! Power Line area had a LOT of prickers but, if you're careful, no problem. No snow except for one small patch to cool off in :) Everything well-marked (though treadway not well-worn). Lots of old skidder roads to cross. Very fun hike!!!! Excellent views from outlooks. Very peaceful! |
