Comments
Comments: Trail in great shape. Some leaves. No snow (one patch visible near summit, but not on trail). Plenty of snow visible on Middle Moat. Trail quite dry, especially for early spring. This is ALWAYS the first meaningful peak free of snow. Don't take the bypass trail from the parking lot - go up the dirt/logging road, except after a rain - it will be quite muddy. I know the National Forest is mixed use, but the logging is very ugly.
