Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Several along this loop, none significant. The largest one is along the BWT, easily hopped but does involve one step on a wet mossy log.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All trails clear and in good shape. No signage at either end of the Yellow Trail caused some brief confusion. I cruised right by the lower end before I realized my mistake. Fresh blazes throughout the loop, though (except for the Yellow Trail).
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Fine and easy for dogs, with plentiful water sources right now.
Bugs
Bugs: A few gnat-ey things and a couple of flies.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: Hiked this one to grab another for my Belknaps list, and to test drive some new old footwear that I'm re-breaking in. A fairly easy hike overall. The trails are not too exciting, but the short open ridgewalk along the Ridge Trail is nice, with views over to Gunstock, which still has snow on the slopes. Trails are a mix of dry ground, mud, leaves, and a couple of tiny snow patches along the Ridge Trail that will be gone by tomorrow. Didn't see anyone else except for two trail runners up on the ridge.
