Trail was clear of blowdowns. There were a lot of muddy spots hidden under the leaves. One swollowed my leg past the ankle and filled my sneaker.
Only noticed two very faded blazes on the way up. Trail could be blazed better. |

Didn't see any pups today but this would be a great trail for dogs. |

I wanted to go for a run today and I've been eyeing this one for a while. The trail starts off flat then to a moderate incline but never gets very steep. There are some trails/logging roads that intersect with this trail so just remember the way you go up and you'll be fine. I only noticed two faded yellow blazes on the way up. Good veiws to the south where the old fire tower sat at the summit. Rain clouds over head but still a great afternoon for a like. |
