Comments
Comments: Left the Guinea Pond Trail at its junction with the Cold (Swift) River, and bushwhacked up to a nice rocky viewpoint above a bog located just south of Sandwich Dome. From there, headed further up the river and then west to Black Mtn. Pond. Very nice time at the pond with the White-Throated Sparrows singing and almost no wind. Some snow still remaining at the edges of the pond. Headed down Black Mtn. Pond trail and bushwhacked across an area north of Guinea pond, connecting back to the old logging railroad bed.
