Black Mountain (Benton)
A brilliant finish to the day. Chippewa Trail doesn't much around, and was a solid end of the day workout, with great quartzite ledges in the upper reaches. Visited the Lime Kilns on the way up as well. Superb views from the various ledges around the summit. I'll again have to come back and snag the Black Mountain Trail from the other end, but this summit is definitely worth another trip. |
